Magic Ball takes the Air Jordan 11 into the scene that set Space Jam’s story in motion: the Monstars trapping NBA talent inside a glowing basketball. Jordan Brand gives this women’s pair an all over synthetic leather upper that shifts among four colors, a first for the silhouette. Green, bronze and purple tones appear as the light and viewing angle change, with a black midsole and blue grey outsole keeping the lower half distinct. The effect continues into the packaging, where film inspired artwork and a Magic Ball change color from different angles. This is its own interpretation of the anniversary collection. Its appeal comes from the unusual finish and movie connection, with a different look from the familiar black Space Jam 11.
