The Air Jordan 4 OG “Bred” brings the familiar black, grey and red combination back for 2026. Reports point to classic black nubuck construction and Nike Air branding, separating this return from the leather Bred Reimagined released in 2024. The appeal is in that familiar execution: a dark upper, grey accents and red around the tongue and outsole. There is no collaborator attached to this release. For collectors deciding between editions, the material difference matters more than treating every Bred return as the same shoe. The reported full colorway is Black, Cement Grey, Summit White and Fire Red, although Nike’s final wording remains unconfirmed.
No amount of stock is enough. Bred reaches beyond the collectors watching every drop, and I expect that recognition and emotional demand to help these sell out. That doesn't mean the tax will be big. Familiarity can inflate early asking prices before buyers know how many chances they will have at retail. Just look at the 2019 pair and Bred Reimagined before assuming a sellout gives sellers unlimited leverage. Broad distribution could still give patient buyers room to negotiate as pairs reach the market. I want the price to make sense without needing the release day excitement to justify it. If actual access proves materially tighter than expected, that balance can change. Until then, strong demand alone is not a reason to pay an early premium.
November 27, 2026 is the reported release date, with adult MSRP at $230. Nike confirmation is still outstanding, and an older report lists November 28, so treat the date as provisional until the launch is announced. This is classified as a GR, with full family sizing reported. Exact regional access and launch procedures remain unconfirmed, and there is no verified purchasing link yet.
